There's a lot of confusion out there about how Wrath works, and I've found that transitioning from leveling mode to endgame mode has required a lot more planning and specific focus than it seemed to require back in TBC. I think the majority of the playerbase could probably use some help figuring this stuff out. I haven't seen a good guide for it yet, and the info is so scattered on wowhead and mmo-champion that it takes some serious work to put together a framework.

So I'd like to humbly suggest to the WoW blogosphere that we get on it.

Here is my first attempt, with more to come.

One thing that I find kind of mind blowing is the way that professions have changed. I mean, I remember long arduous rep grinds and impossible recipe drop grinding. Now i just have to make sure i farm herbs for 20 min every few days and i can research both alchemy and inscriptions! No more devoting my life to killing the same mob 20 bajillion times a day for a %0.00001 chance. I think that is going to revolutionize professions. I don't know if similar research has been put into other professions but i don't see why they wouldn't.

That is beside the point. Professions is always one of the first things I level only because it will help me with raiding or even money making.
