I realize that this isn't "technically" WP related, even though I have a WP blog, but I am at a total loss here. Phae can tell you all how extremely clueless I am about coding in any way shape or form, and I've identified an error on my second sidebar (www.unbearably.net if you want to look) and those stupid bullets are driving me nuts. This, to me, suggests I have an unordered list tag with a <li> in the wrong spot--but I can't find it. How on earth do I go about fixing this?

I'm seeing stuff like
Code:
<li id="text-1" class="widget widget_text">...</li>

around your widgets in your source code.

Do you have an unclosed <ul> tag somewhere?

Check your sidebar template file, normally sidebars are wrapped in an <ul> and the widget contents become <li> elements.

This will allow you to identify the correct CSS class for the offending sidebar, allowing you to style its <li> elements without any decoration.

OK, I went down a bit further.

First, I think the template file for your second sidebar is actually not properly enclosed in <ul>, as there's a closing tag but no opening one.

The relevant classes should be gap (but careful because that one is used for non-sidebar stuff as well as far as I can see) or, more precisely, side2.

I'd compare the templates for your first and your second sidebar, and make sure the second one is properly coded first, then style side2 ul and side2 li properly in the CSS sheet.

Hope that helps

It does help, tremendously. Like I said, I figured it had to be a <ul> tag someplace, but I had no idea where u_u. I'll check this out.

EDIT: FIXED!!! Thanks, all.

It seems fixed now, as I look at it. One easy way to spot mistakes that you can't tell what causes them:

1. select some text or image near the mistake
2. View the source of the page in a browser
3. Scroll to or Find the image/text
4. Check which DIV ID it is encapsulated in
5. Go to your styles.css and find that DIV, then tweak it around as you see fit
