I posted a topic today about Solo healing bosses in Karazhan.

This got me thinking about a cool shared topic.

What's your proudest soloing moment? What's the hardest thing you solo tanked, dps'ed, or healed? Thought this could be a fun way to share stories and maybe even include a few tips and tricks that readers might not know about.

That's pretty awesome. We ran Kara on Tuesday with 3 which was ridiculously too much. Considering they all had +1700 healing, one of our female healers even admitted to doing her hair . . . during Shade. > >

Yeah, we usually go with three, but two of them usually have competitions to see how much DPS they can do. Our priest ended up with close to 4% of total damage last night. :)

And we beat our best time by an hour. We finished just seconds under 3 hours.

Haha, yeah. Our Resto druid decided to level Maces as well. :)

Am I to suppose that taking down Hogger as a level 11 mage doesn't count as the greatest solo experience ever?

But they nerfed him! If we was still elite, than yes. Definitely. :)

But I call shenanigans! No one can solo Hogger.

Good call on the shenanigans! I've never actually taken a level 11 mage to meet the Hogger-meister. In theory, though, that would be quite the solo experience, no?

Too funny! I actually did take him down with my level 11 mage and, as retarded as this may sound, it felt pretty good! I had to run away the first try as I aggroed an angry bear, but I got him the second time.

He was an elite, but maybe Blizz toned him down?

(dang it, I didn't get a screenie for a blog post about it! grr)

I almost solo-healed Illhoof in Kara one time. We carried only two healers in those days: myself (resto druid) and a holy pally. I didn't find out until later that the paladin got disconnected when Illhoof was at more than 70% and didn't come back till he was almost dead. So I solo-healed almost the entire fight and was very stressed about it. I only lost a single person (the warlock soloing the imps) but I battle-rezzed him immediately afterwards. Healing the person in the chains was the most difficult part.

Probably the most epic bossfight that I have solo-healed in recent months was a few months ago, the boss ... Nightbane (Karazhan).

Our Resto Shaman copped a tailswipe at 95% and couldn't ankh (insert sub-par response regarding to why he has no reagants here). Unfortuantely we had no druid and had to power through regardless.

Thanks to my friend fearward, a great stancedancing warrior and WoTF we managed to power on without another death. Was definetely a *wipes sweat from brow* moment but it was sooo exciting, a part of me was actually hoping that he couldn't ankh back up so I could heal the rest of the fight hehe
