The idea was originally conceived by Vaneeesa Blaylock, as a way for people to share six pictures w/ stories about their favorite virtual world locations.
http://irez.me/2012/06/19/gimme-six/She proposed that you could choose six spots within the same world, or spread them out throughout several virtual worlds.
I liked the idea but though I would frame mine as a tourist guide, trying to convey why both WoW players and non-players should go there and why it's an interesting place.
I made six categories of travel destinations, each covers only one chosen location:
1. Spectacular Nature
2. City Break
3. Leisure and Spa
4. Horror and Mystery
5. Humanitarian Aid Work
6. History Tour
These are just ideas, you could also do:
- Beach vacation
- Jungle expedition
- Mountain climbing
- Visit a hermit
- Skiing
As an example, I already wrote number one (I used more than one picture, but one is fine):

As for the Gimme Six! idea, you could go with my addition of a tourist guide, or just do one or more significant locations framed in whatever way you prefer.
For example: another author have written a Gimme Six post including pictures from Lord of the Rings Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic and Mass Effect.

I hope this inspires someone out there
