It's that time of year again! In the midst of Christmas rush, family gatherings and good food, comes my personal favorite blogging event of the year: The Blog Azeroth Secret Santa!

This is the second edition of the annual event conceived by Gnomeaggedon. Last year had a great participation and I expect this year to be just as, if not more, exciting.

Here's how it works:

1- You send me an email at bossypally@gmail.com before or on Wednesday December 22 with your name (the one you want to use for the event, not your real name), a link to your blog and, if you want to use a different one, your email address.

2- Shortly after, you'll receive an invitation from Elfster to participate in the Blog Azeroth Secret Santa. I'm using a gift exchange site because I totally want in on the fun. Make sure the invitation doesn't end up in your spam folder.

3- On December 23rd, you'll receive another email from Elfster with the name of the blogger you'll be Secret Santa-ing.

4- You write a guest post for that blogger on the topic of your choice, a topic you'll think they'll appreciate. Feel free to browse their blog to get a feel for their style and interests.

5- Email your post to the blogger in question. We're aiming for Christmas, but since we're all busy people, any time between Christmas and New Years is fine.

If you're short on ideas, Elfster lets you ask questions anonymously, which can be helpful (thanks to Jaedia for pointing it out!). You can also read what people wrote last year by following the links in the announcement post.

So everyone should know who they're writing for by now and most of you have probably already received posts from your Secret Santa!

If there are any problems (I even can help with ideas if needed) or if you haven't received a post by the weekend, get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do.

I feel like we should all post our guest posts we got here, so they all are collected. Maybe someone can do a sum up like last year?:D

My Secret Santa post was Ghosts of Auction House Past gifted by Loronar of 35yards.

I tried to get people to link to their Secret Santa posts on Twisted Nether so the post can be used to help with future Secret Santas, but this thread works too. I'll try to compile the other posts.

My Secret Santa was Nicegrl, and you can read her awesome post here.

Never ended up getting one. T_T But then again I don't think the one I gave ever got posted. So in some demented way I guess that evens out. Maybe? Not a clue. Oh well. Till next year.

These are the kind of things you should tell me about. I have no problems pressuring people to post and to write posts, but I'm not going to check each blog individually! I'd also like to keep track of those who bail, so that they don't disappoint again next year.

When it comes to people not putting up the posts they receive, sometimes it's due to the spam filter boss. So if the person you wrote to doesn't respond, let me know so I can get in touch with them.

I don't want people to be pressured to write something if they don't want to. ^_^ I apologize if it came off as me QQing about it. I didn't mean it that way. No need to worry about it, Ophelie.
