Blog Azeroth

I'm starting week three of my daily podcast, and am not sure how to best promote it on my blog. I'm currently writing up a mini-blog post each day to promote and link the episode, but it's starting to take over my blog completely.

I still plan on writing articles for my blog, but don't know if I should use a separate domain (and RSS feed) for my podcast, or keep the podcast and blog posts mixed together.

How would you handle organizing blog posts with your audio/video content?

Maybe you could make a side-page (similar to an ABOUT ME) and have a list of the episodes there including if you want a description and link?

A podcast category separate from other blog categories & then display the categories in a sidebar? Or tagging might work, if your blog doesn't have categories.

Since the podcast really is taking over your blog, you probably should separate them, either sticking them on different sides, or having a distinct section for the podcast. You could draw attention to your podcast from your blog by having a good image link in the side bar plus a list of the last few episodes.

Having two RSS feeds is up to you - on one hand your blog readers might not want podcast feeds or vice-versa, but on the other hand, you do want as many people as possible getting updates on all your work.
