Blog Azeroth

Alright, so I've been playing with the idea of starting a blog for some time now, and with the bitter-sweet departure of resto4life (will miss you! <3) I felt that a large clearing had been made in the forest of trees(blogs) and that I should leap at the opportunity to sprout my own little shrub(blog) and maybe one day be a grand oak(big...blog) like R4L.

I do however have one small problem, I suck when it comes to names, I can't think of anything memorable or anything I identify with which doesn't sound idiotic a week later, so I'm asking for some advice; do you know of a cool/interesting/woody name or could you suggest a strategy for coming up with such a name.

As for the content of the blog, it'll likely be PvE end-game/progression, QQ & PVP-rage(because I utterly fail at pvp!).

I've flipped through the tools&tricks section of this site and found some interesting information however if you have any tips or tricks for getting set up in the wow blogging community, please do not hesitate.

Nao I must leaf and heel things!

some quick thoughts:
- a Forest of Trees (as in can't see the forest for the trees)
- If a Tree falls...
- Graft (the act of splicing one tree from another)
- Tree of Life
- Yggdrasil (the name of the World tree from Norse mythology)
- got wood?
- leaf on the wind

The Wrong Tree or The Right Tree (as in "you're barking up...")
Deciduous (the type of tree ToL appears to be) - this is probably my favorite
Arboreal (all things related to trees)
The Arbor
Roots

I just started my restokin.com blog recently.

It took me a long time to settle on a blog name. It needs to not only express that it's about resto druids, but it needs to express something about you. So, asking other people for ideas works, but in the end, you have to express some aspect of your own personality.

I went with restokin because I was one of the first "restokin," (I used it for PvE healing) before it became a popular PvP spec in burning crusade. So, it's my nod to the "roots" of my druid history, along with how it will represent my restoraton & moonkin dual-specs when 3.1 comes out.

Not sure if you'll come back and see this, but I figured I'd let you know my thought process for picking my blog's new name.

The name I almost went with was "leaf it 2 me". You can have that one if you're still stuck.

All I've got is:

"Wiggling Woodies" (might be a bit too much) think the woody fingering of a resto tree casting

or

"Branching out"

I think resto druids have the most innuendo-filled options when it comes to blog names. We also have the most pickup lines of any class, as druids.

While I don't have a recommendation on a name, it doesn't necessarily have to be related to your spec. My blog is "Druid Main" since my main has and always will be a druid. I can change specs freely and not clash with the name. Likewise I can dabble on more specs and post a broader range of information.

Well I found a name and I'm currently working on the preliminary stuff, I'll be launching on the 1st of August in what will probably be a one-man-party
