Has very nifty features:

* Wiki style tracking of changes
* Theme previews
* Image captions :O

There's more!

For those of you using Windows Live Writer or any other kind of remote blogging service to write, note that the XML file used to allow remote connections is DISABLED by default. So you do have to re-enable it in options.

Image captions were implemented on WordPress.com recently as well. You can see a sample of them on my recent blog posts. Pretty nifty, though the code for it is a bit confusing.

Don't get sucked into upgrading just yet. A lot of plugins need to be updated to work with the new wordpress.

Just like when there is a new patch on Tuesdays in WoW, your going to find out a lot of your "Mods" no longer work.

Since there wasn't a huge security issue with 2.5, I'd give it a week or so before you take the plunge.

I encountered a bug this morning when I upgraded. If you use Firefox 3.0+ you may not be able to log-in into the control panel. If you use IE, you should be able to log in.
