I just upgraded Flinthammer Hall and my non-WoW blog to 2.3.3, figuring the last stable release before a major upgrade would be a safe place to move to from 1.whatever. The WYSWIYG improvements, if accurate, sound awfully good in 2.4, though.

So, early adopters, has it been worth upgrading? I've read the thread about the technical upgrade issues, etc., but I haven't seen much yet about the new platform itself.

Yeah, I like it. The entire admin interface received a huge overhaul.

The excerpt context generated by a trackback seems strange - it looked as if it were pulling the context off the sidebar for one of them

The admin interface is much better, especially the editor. Unless you have incompatible plug-ins or themes I would upgrade.

The default editor features for media handling in particular have improved a lot, taking over many of the stuff you'd have needed a plugin for beforehand (I was using TinyMCEAdvanced). This alone makes an upgrade worthwile IMO. Though if you're reluctant, I'd leave it another week to get more plugins upgraded.
