Heya, I dont like how blockquotes look on my blog... But I dont have enough knowledge on how to make it right, any thoughts?

I want them to not be boxed (like they are now, in a peach sorta ugly color, too.... I would love for them to be boxed with rounded edges, but my understanding is rounded edges are actually super hard.)

I want them indented, but I also need to be able to quote within quote, and indent further (this isint a problem, its working as intended now....)

I do not want the text formatting to change. The first level is fine (I change it to blue when its a blue quote.) but when indented again, the text is made smaller, how do I fix this.

Or, is there a tutorial somewhere that I missed?

Your best bet would be to adjust your blockquote via css.

I'm going to do a little more research and see if I can help you out with the rounded corner thing.

So I wiped up a little plugin that will allow you do quickly do rounded corners

Basically, I am trying to shamlessly rip Phaelia's blue quotes off.

They are displayed in this post to great effect.

I seem to have gotten the sheet wrangled into something passable.... Let me know what yall think, in particular, about the contrast of BG and Text colors all across the page.

This post in particular has a smattering of a lot of different elements.

Heya again folks..... Ive gotten around to doing another substantive post about stuff... sorta...

Anyway, I used quotes again.... and realized when reading through reader that changing the color of the quoted text to white manually makes the text white in reader (ie, unreadable.) So, I changed the color of the text in the CSS sheet to white! Lesson learned, its almost like I know stuff....

But, I got another problem, and I dont know if its doable.

Link colors in my blog are a dark blue, it contrasts well with the white background and the light blue background of my sidebar.... But not so good within a quote.

Can you make the color of a link different within a blockquote from without? (I tried to just put an a:link {} argument within the block-quote, no change.)

Or, perhaps a better question, what would be a good color for links that will contrast well with the three backgrounds (white, light blue, dark grey) in question? I have no eye for color, I can look at something and say "That looks good." But getting to that point..... I donno.
